Lindsay's Cakery - (It's my business, and I mainly bake cakes, so it's sort of a bakery but more like a cakery)

It is my mission to create mouth-wateringly, irresistible homemade treats that not only look, taste and smell fabulous but leave you with a smile inside and out!

All products are homemade to the highest standard, always using high quality ingredients; I use butter in all my sponge cakes as this makes them taste absolutely delicious and moist which is really what everyone wants from a cake! I use locally sourced Treflach Farm free-range eggs. All natural flavourings are used in all my recipes including some Best Of Taste Coulis as their flavours are just irresistable. I am, however, one for vibrant colours to brighten up the day, so food colourings are used on occasions.

I love to experiment with new ingredients and recipes, and am happy to cater for any size order - any enquiries just ask!

Many of my products are decorated with sugarcraft or icing decorations (made in-house) from the carrots on top of my low-fat moist Carrot Cake to the delicate roses, hearts and butterflies which top delicious swirly-iced Cupcakes. I currently supply Quinces of Newtown (a cute Delicatessen at 13 High Street, Newtown) with a variety of cakes every week, so do pop in and enjoy a sweet treat if you're in the area! :)
